Chalong Bay is mainly used for yacht moorings. Being the islands largest bay, it is the most popular hub to catch boats for trips around the island on various day trips and diving ventures. The shoreline in Chalong is truly picturesque, although it is muddy and therefore not a place for swimming. The main landmark in Chalong is the 720 metre long jetty. Alongside the jetty you will find a range of restaurants and shops, as well as areas for boats to moor up alongside.
